A Micro Mosaic Pendant, late 19th century, the central oval panel depicting a beetle within a yellow bead and ropetwist border, with a locket compartment to the reverse, length 4.3cm; and A Micro Mosaic Brooch, of similar design, measures 3.6cm diameter see illustration . Both pieces are in fair condition, there is a crack to the locket compartment of the pendant and there is discolouration and damage to mosaic of the brooch. The brooch fastens with a pin and C-hook catch. They bear no hallmark nor stamp but in our opinion would test as gilt metal. Gross weight 25.0 grams. CR made 03.06.21.
