A Victorian silver-plated centrepiece, possibly by Thomas Bradbury & Sons, of Indian design, the central cut-glass bowl supported by palm trees, with four scrolling branches, each suspending a basket with a smaller glass bowl, on a naturalistic base set with elephant heads and a figure in a howdah on an elephant, the whole piece raised on a mirrored base of shaped circular form, with corresponding elephant head detail, 54cm wide 69.5cm high Condition report: General surface wear and scratches to glass bowls. Basket swing handles a little stiff. Tarnish and discolouration throughout. Rubbing to raised areas. Some loose joints and misshapen areas. Scratches to mirrored base. General wear throughout.
