NETHERLAND EAST INDIES, an extensive collection on leaves in mixed condition in a red New Age loose leaf album, issues from 1864, (SG 1 imperf., 1 mint, 3 used; 1868 perf. issue SG 2 1 mint (ilustrated CV £1700), 4 used); 1870-1888, much duplication, 2.50g (includes block of 4 mint CV £520); other mint and used various perfs (in all 135 stamps); 1883 and 1892 mint and used (2.50g mint illustrated SG 101 CV £200); 1900 O/P series with duplicates, including 2.50 (SG 117, 4 mint, 1 pair and 2 singles); noted rare 1902 surcharge 1/2c inverted on 2c another with surcharge double (with certificate from the BPA in 1949); 1902 series mint and used with duplicates, noted 2.50g grey (4 mint), 2.50g grey on blue (block of 4 mint CV £680); Java O/P set mint and used, including a block of 6 with O/P Java on only 2 stamps, also set of Java inverted O/P mint and used 2.50g mint (SG 159a £2250, Scott 98a) (illustrated); 1908 O/P set mint and used (some inverted) with varieties some as pairs noted 2.50g with inverted O/P (SG £2500); 1911 official stamps used; extensive range of issues many in blocks with duplication and varieties, including set 1923 Queen's Jubilee to 5g mint and used, noted 12.5c vertical pair imperf. between very rare (illustrated); 1921 complete Marine Insurance set; 1922 set O/P complete; appears complete with extras to 1948 with seveal covers; collection includes Netherlands New Guinea to 1962.
