Liberty Eagles 1893-CC $10 AU55 NGC. Variety 1-A. Although

Liberty Eagles
1893-CC $10 AU55 NGC. Variety 1-A. Although it has the smallest mintage of all Carson City eagles struck in the 1890s, the 1893-CC has a high survival rate. It represents the final year of not only ten dollar gold pieces struck at the Nevada Mint, but also the final year of coinage operations at the Old West facility. Only 14,000 pieces were struck. This is a Choice About Uncirculated example, with prooflike qualities throughout the obverse and the reverse fields. The strike remains needle-sharp , showing with nominal high-point wear. Orange-gold surfaces are remarkably free of abrasions on either side. Census: 62 in 55, 71 finer (8/23).
