A very scarce Lefaucheux-Dumonthier pin fire revolver with knife

dating: about 1870 provenance: Paris, Octagonal, smoothbore, 8 mm cal barrel marked 'DUMONTHIER - B.S.G.D.G' at the base and with serial number '545', worked in one piece with a single-edged knife with hollow tip, engraved with beautiful floral motifs and with two birds on a gray background; six-shot cylinder engraved with floral motifs, the frame alike, loading gate, folding trigger with base marked 'LEFAUCHEUX BREVETE PARIS'. Wooden grips with iron frame decorated en suite. Complete with leather scabbard featuring iron mounts, cap with hook. length 27,8 cm.
