GOLDEN-WINGED WARBLER. CAPE MAY WARBLER (PLATE CCCCXIV)

Vermivora chrysoptera. Dendroica tigrina Flora: water oak, "Quercus nigra" JW 37 19 3/8 by 12 3/8 in.; 494 by 315 mm. The plate and lot 399 both derive from a single composition completed in Charleston, S.C., probably in 1836- -37, from specimens obtained from Oregon, New Jersey, and elsewhere.
