Eudocimus ruber JW 37 brilliant impression, an inconspicuous abrasion in the upper bird's beak, a slight scrape in the blank area below bird's beak, larger stitch holes with associated losses 21 5/8 by 29 1/4 in.; 550 by 742 mm. Based on a composition probably painted in England, c. 1837, using South American specimens. See color illustration on Plate XXII.
