comprised of two flat gold panels connected on top with a loop, front enamelled in guilloché royal blue enamel over wavy pattern and centred with classical lyre under the Russian Imperial crown set with rose-cut diamonds and flanked with ribbon-tied laurel garland; with large circular rose-cut diamond beneath; second panel centred with oval glass to accommodate a photograph or a portrait miniature, both marked on loops, with later gold suspension loop,
