Marbled Godwit, "Limosa fedoa" JW 36 fine, fresh impression, pale foxing, faint offprint visible on the recto 13 1/2 by 21 1/8 in.; 341 by 534 mm. Based on a composition which combined studies painted in Louisiana, 1821 and in the Florida Keys c. 1821.
