Ixoreus naevius" Flora: American mistletoe, "Phoradendron serotinum" JW 37 faint foxing and slight offprint showing through on the recto 19 3/4 by 14 3/8 in.; 501 by 367 mm. Although based on a composition painted in Philadelphia, October, 1836, both birds represented are western species. Maria Martin provided the drawing of the mistletoe.
