Ruddy Turnstone, "Arenaria interpres" JW 36 very good impression, a few tears in the margins, minor soiling, faint offprint showing through on the recto 14 5/8 by 21 7/8 in.; 372 by 531 mm. Based on a composition painted in Philadelphia at the end of May, 1824. The bird flying was drawn from a specimen procured near Camden, New Jersey.
