Mountain Quail, "Oreortyx pictus." Crested Bobwhite, "Colinus cristatus" JW 38 fine, fresh impression 12 3/4 by 21 3/8 in.; 326 by 545 mm. Based on a composition probably painted in London, 1838. The crested bobwhite was drawn from a specimen in the collection of the Zoological Society of London.
