FEODOROVNA MARIA: (1847-1928) Princess Dagmar of Denmark. Danish Princess and Empress of Russia, the wife of Emperor Alexander III and mother of Emperor Nicholas II. A fine vintage signed sepia postcard photograph, the image depicting the Empress Dowager seated in a full length pose within a room of her holiday villa, Hvidore House, near Copenhagen, where she was to spend the final years of her life in exile. Signed with her name alone in bold, dark fountain pen ink at the base of the image and also with an A.N.S. to the verso, sending her best wishes. One very minor scuff to the upper edge of the verso, only very slightly affecting one letter of text, otherwise about EX
