Thick-billed Murre, "Uria lomvia" JW 36 slight ink in the four corners of the plate, small scrape in the left margin, soft vertical crease in the image at left, hand written pencil title beneath engraved title, slight foxing, faint offprint showing through on the recto 12 1/4 by 21 1/2 in.; 313 by 546 mm. Based on a study painted in Boston, February 1833, from a specimen received from Eastport, Maine.
